Easter Celebration: Ekiti CP Orders Adequate Security

In a bit to have smooth and peaceful Easter celebration as Christian faithful around the globe celebrate, the Ekiti state police commissioner ,Tunde Mobayo has directed all the Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers and other heads to maintain adequate security in their domains during and after the Easter celebration.

Mobayo made this known in a press release made available to the press today in Ado  Ekiti, Ekiti state capital by the command"s Public Relation Officer, ASP Sunday Abutu urging the security officials to be alive to their duty and ensure adequate security.

The statement reads: "In view of this celebration, the CP has directed all the Area Commanders, DPOs, Operational Heads and Intelligence Officers to ensure the deployment of adequate operatives to all the strategic points across the state to forestall any form of breach of security".

                       

 Mobayo  used the occasion on behalf of the command to felicitate with all Christian faithful, residents and the good people of Ekiti state on the occasion of Easter celebration as they commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ

 The Ekiti State Police commissioner assured everyone of adequate security before,  during and after the Easter celebration as enough Operatives had been deployed across the State.

He enjoined everyone to be security conscious, vigilant and advised that untoward incident or happening observed in their locality  be reported to the nearest Police station

The command enjoined the residents to  call 08062335577 should there be any threat or breach of the security .
