Tai Oguntayo, Tope Alonge, Iyabo Okieimen, Femi Akindele, Tonia Omonusi, Ayodeji Ajayi, 10 others Make APC Presidential Campaign Committee List

The Special Adviser on Media to the late Speaker of the House of Assembly and former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Ekiti State, Akogun Tai Oguntayo and 15 others have been appointed as coordinators for the 16 Local Government of Ekiti State for Trade and Economic APC Campaign Council which has the for former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Prof. Modupe Adelabu as the Deputy Director for the Directorate.


A press release by the Ekiti State Coordinator of the Committee who doubles as a member of the Presidential Campaign Council, Dr Margret Fagboyo, lists other Local Government Coordinators as;  Tosin Aluko (Ado Ekiti), Mary Faje (Ekiti South West), Dr Bola Solanke (Moba), Bunmi Agunbiade (Ido-Osi), Femi Fatunla (Ikole), Moses Ademiloye (Gbonyin), Muyiwa Babatunde Oke (Ikere), Bunmi Adelugba (Emure), Bose Yakubu (Ijero) and Bose Olowookere(Efon LGA).


According to the release, the terms and reference for the committee are to; design strategies and mobilize market woman and men to support the campaign, engage the leaderships of all market associations to constitute campaign structures at all levels for scoring votes from their members, conduct point to point Campaigns in markets, malls, and plaza in their respective zones among others.


Akogun Tai Oguntayo represents Ekiti West Local Government, Tope Alonge (Oye), Iyabo Okieimen (Ilejemeje) Femi Akindele (Irepodun/Ifelodun), Tonia Omonusi (Ekiti East) and Ayodeji Ajayi (Ise/Orun)


The activities and functions of the Directorate shall subsist till the end of the campaign.

ANA Faction Loses Court Case, Risks Being Docked For Contempt of Court

The National Executive of a faction of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) led by Mr. Camilus Ukah has lost its bid to challenge the jurisdiction of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, in a pending originating summons against them and the faction it constituted for Abuja, under the Chairmanship of Mrs. Usman Halima.
