Ojuawo Congratulates Oyebanji

The APC House of Representatives candidate for Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1, in next year's  National Assembly elections, AVM Adeniyi OJUAWO (retd) has congratulated the APC candidate in the just concluded Saturday's Governorship Election, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) for his resounding victory at the polls.


AVM Ojuawo, in a statement released from his Media office, describes the victory as well deserved and a testimony to the wide acceptance of Oyebanji across the state.


Ojuawo who voted in his Ise/Orun Ward 1, Unit 4 on Saturday,said he was overwhelmed by the turn-out of voters to discharge their civic responsibility, describing it as a welcome development for the country's democracy;

'BAO's victory is a victory for Ekiti people and a vote for continuity of developmental strides of the current administration. Ekiti people have voted for progress, development and one of their own, who they have absolute confidence in. Our democracy is no doubt maturing', he added.


He prayed for requisite wisdom and knowledge for the Governor- elect to lead Ekiti people to the next phase of development in the State when he assumes duty in October 16.


AVM Ojuawo(retd) will be flying the flag of APC in the House of Representatives election slated for February 2023.
