Fapohunda Hosts Send-Off For Obaparusi (PHOTOS)

The Honourable Attorney-General & Commissioner for Justice, Olawale Fapohunda yesterday hosted a get-together for friends and colleagues of Remi Obaparusi, Permanent Secretary, Civil Service Commission on his retirement from the Ekiti State Public Service.


At the event were; the Chief of Staff Biodun Omoleye( who represented Governor Fayemi ) the Secretary to the State Government, Biodun Oyebanji and the Head of Service, Olapeju Babafemi

Flood: Ondo Assembly Calls For Sensitization Of Residents Against Illegal Waste Disposal

By Adeboye Ado, Akure  Fountain Newsbreaker Following the incessant flooding across the State, the Ondo State House of Assembly has called for sensitization of residents on the effect of improper waste disposal. The house unanimously made the call at a plenary presided over by the speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji on Tuesday. The house also warned inhabitants of the sunshine state to desist  from dumping refuse on waterways across the state. Recalled that flood had ravaged some part of State capital a few days ago after a heavy downpour.  While sympathizing with the affected people and communities, the House called on relevant agencies of government and stakeholders to be more proactive in prevention and management of disasters especially in the coastal Communities of Ondo State. …as Ewi prays for APC Candidate during visit to palace  The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the June 18, governorship election in Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has restated his commitment to issue-based campaign and peaceful conduct of supporters ahead of the Ekiti guber poll. Oyebanji gave the assurance on Monday during a courtesy visit to the palace of Ewi of Ado Ekiti, HRM, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe, as part of ongoing consultations preceding the his gubernatorial campaign.  The State Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi led the team, which comprised a few chieftains of the party and friends of the candidate, to the palace.
