Ekiti State government has relaxed the total curfew imposed on the state last week as a result of a protest embarked upon by the EndSARS protesters which will now be a dusk to dawn.

In a press statement made available to the press early this morning in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State capital by the Commissioner for Information and value orientation, Barrister Akinbowale Omole informed that the curfew has been relaxed.

Omole stated, "This is to inform the general public in Ekiti state that the state government has reviewed the period of the on going curfew.

It is now from dusk to dawn, starting from 8pm to 6am."

He enjoyed all members of the public to go about their normal businesses without fear of molestation.

It would be recalled that the governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi imposed a total curfew on the state last week following a peaceful protest embarked upon by the EndSARS protesters that later turned violent which resulted to the break down of law and order in the state.
