Oyebanji Suspends New Commissioner Over Indiscipline
• Vows to Sack Non-performing Cabinet Member Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has suspended the newly inaugurated Commissioner for Chieftaincy and Home Affairs, Mr Olaiya Atibioke for two weeks. The Governor's action came less than 24 hours after reading riot act to the newly sworn in cabinet members that any who performs below expectation would be sacked. He said this at the retreat he had with them held at Bishop Adetiloye Hall, Trade Fair Complex, Ado-Ekiti on Friday and suspended the Commissioner on Saturday. The suspension which took immediate effect, followed Mr Atibioke’s unauthorised departure from the venue of the three-day retreat for members of the State Executive Council and Permanent Secretaries.
