Group Organizes Enlightenment on UN SDG in Okemesi

Mayor of the Likes Group in Okemesi Ekiti, Olusina Bode Adeoye, and the entire  Executive Council have invited the public to their programme tagged, " Socio Economic Discourse" which will hold on 12 noon on 10th June, 2023 at the St. Michael Multipurpose Hall, Okemesi Ekiti.

A release signed by the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Dr Bayo Ogunyemi stated that the theme for the programme is "Strategies for Creating a Prosperous Community following the Lead from the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal Okemesi as a Case Study" in which the key note speaker of the day is "Prof Taiwo Ejiola Mafimisebi from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics.

Among the dignitaries expected to honour the event is The Guest of Honor, Mr Laoye Jaiyeola, Former President CIBN, CEO Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) and Oba Michael Gbadebo Adedeji, JP, CON, FCIPSM, (Owa-Ooye Of Okemesi-Land) EKITI STATE

Erelu Fayemi Unveils Cancer Screening Equipments Donated By Fatoba To EKSUTH

  The first lady of Ekiti state, Her Excellency, Erelu Bisi Fayemi has officially unveiled cancer screening machine and Anesthesia machine donated by Hon. Olusola Fatoba to Aduni Olayinka diagnostic and wellness centre of  Ekiti state University Teaching Hospital(EKSUTH) Ado-Ekiti. Erelu Bisi Fayemi while unveiling the medical equipments for official use commended the Reps member for taking such a laudable  step.  The first lady who expressed happiness at what she described as good innitiative,  thanked Fatoba for the "very good example he has shown". The CMD of EKSUTH, Prof. Kayode Olabanji expressed his profound appreciation for the donation of the medical equipments by Hon. Fatoba to the hospital.  According to him, the availability of the cancer screening and Anesthesia machine will go a long way of  saving many lives.  He promised that the medical equipments would be judiciously made use of for the general interest of the people.
