Oyebanji's Wife to Continue and Build on Erelu Fayemi’s Good Legacies

Today, I joined the Ekiti Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning & Empowerment Project (AGILE) Project unit of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology’s sensitization engagement with The First Lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi

The Sensitization Engagement which had the Wives of Ekiti State Local Government Chairmen, Personnels from the Ministry of Education, and the AGILE committee gave insight into the role of the Wives of Local Government Chairmen on the Ekiti State Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) project.

A World Bank-assisted project with the goal to assisting adolescent girls’ access to secondary education opportunities.

The participating States are Borno, Ekiti, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi and Plateau. Ekiti State will receive U$25m for this project over five years.

This will give our female students an opportunity to access secured, digitalized and serene environment as they proceed in their secondary school education.

I affirmed my commitment to the AGILE project, promising to continue and build on the good legacies already laid down by the Office of the First Lady.
