We're Proud of Erelu Bisi Fayemi @ 59 - Ekiti Speaker

It is an understatement to say that the wife of the Governor of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi has really made the State proud in the affairs of the state and indeed among the comity of Wives of  State Governors in Nigeria. For this, she deserves our accolades as she clocks 59 today.


This encomium was made by the Speaker of Ekiti State, Rt. Hon. Funminiyi Afuye while rejoicing with the first lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi on the occasion of her 59th birthday.


Describing the Governor's wife as a compassionate woman, Afuye said "times without number she has brought bills which are not only gender sensitive to the House of Assembly for passage, but also to protect the underaged and less privileged in our State. In short, her heart is always with the vulnerable and underprivileged people in the society."


Afuye described Erelu as an effective mobilizer around progress and good governance. This is a calling she does with ease. 


He therefore prayed for a long life as Erelu Fayemi clocks 59 today.

ANA Faction Loses Court Case, Risks Being Docked For Contempt of Court

The National Executive of a faction of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) led by Mr. Camilus Ukah has lost its bid to challenge the jurisdiction of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, in a pending originating summons against them and the faction it constituted for Abuja, under the Chairmanship of Mrs. Usman Halima.
