FUOYE Announces Additional Admission Opportunities

The authorities of the

Federal University of Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), has, again, announced additional admission opportunities for the 2021 academic session in the

three already existing faculties of Arts, Education and Sciences .

This development was made available to the press in Ado Ekiti,  Ekiti State capital over the weekend by Wole Balogun,  Special Adviser , Media to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Fasina that the admission opportunities was made public on Friday, April 9, in an advert placement signed by the Registrar of FUOYE, Mr. Olatunbosun Odusanya.

The statement read, "The six new Academic programmes in the aforementioned already existing faculties are B.A , Philosophy, B.A , Religious Studies in Arts Faculty; B.ED, Adult Education, in the Faculty of Education."

The statement added, "Others in the Faculty of science are B.SC, Chemistry, B.SC, Environmental Management and Toxicology and B.SC, Statistics."

Profesor Fasina further  announced the admission opportunities in FUOYE's School of Post Graduate Studies (SPGS).

Fasina had earlier  promised to expedite action on a prompt and elaborate take-off of academic activities in the new faculties a few weeks ago which he stated that academic and non-academic staff members, as well as learning facilities were already on ground in order to facilitate smooth academic program.

 

The Vice Chancellor informed that the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences was a launchpad to FUOYE's College of Medicine which would begin in earnest this year".

 

"Academic programmes that are available for prospective admission seekers in these two faculties are 10, with the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences inviting applications for admissions into academic programmes such as  Medical Laboratory, Nursing, Physiology, Radiography and Radiation Science. While the academic programmes in the  Faculty of Environmental Design and Management include Architecture, Building, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geoformatics as well as Urban and Regional Planning."

FUOYE authorities further stated, "Admissions are available for both candidates seeking to be admitted into100 Level via the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entries."

 The statement further directed qualified intrested candidates seeking admissions but have not chosen FUOYE in UTME and post graduate have the grace of changing their institutions within 14 days from Thursday, March 25, 2021 and they were enjoined to visit https://ecampus.fuoye.edu.ng/putme, for application processes and  post graduate level could also visit FUOYE's website, www.fuoye.edu.ng.

It would be recalled that following the recent appointment of Professor Abayomi Fasina as the Vice Chancellor of the Federal institution, he made a lot of promises ranging from academic excellence, developmental projects, staff and students welfare and smooth academic program .
