Tutor General Welcomes Teachers, Students to School ... Reads Riot Act to Negligent Staff




The Tutor General for Ekiti central zone Chief (Mrs) Oluwatoyin Arogundade has welcomed the students and workers of public secondary schools in the state back to school on their resumption for a new academic session.

Mrs Arogundade also congratulated the new intakes into secondary schools on their admission, urging them to make use of the opportunity by facing their studies squarely.

She appealed to the teachers to redouble their efforts for the educational development in the state and prayed that God crowned their effort with success.

Chief Mrs Arogundade reiterated government's free education policy and reminded parents that they would be held responsible for any child found roaming the streets or hawking during school hours.

The Tutor General commended Governor Kayode Fayemi for his motivation, innovation and support for the education sector and hereby wished the students and workers a fruitful and successful academic session.
