To be Governor is not a Do or Die thing - Tunde Afe

A Governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, under the platform of the Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party, (ANRP)  Rev. Tunde Afe has said that contesting for the post of Governor in Ekiti is not a do or die affair for him as he said, he is not going there to be served but, to serve Ekiti people.

The Senior Pastor of House of Faith Christian Centre in Ado-Ekiti, made this assertion at the Commissioning of the newly renovated secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists  (NUJ)  in Ekiti State on Thursday, 29th 2018. " I see my aspiration as an opportunity because, during the process, I have come across some important personalities which ordinarily, I would not have known", he added.

     While addressing pressman at the event, he described journalism as a service to humanity. A service out of passion for humanity and for the profession itself.

    He however, spelt out the works of the journalist which can not be underestimated in the society. Also, he gave an unreserved commendation to the present NUJ Executive Council for their giant strides in office.

     Finally, In response, The Chairman of the NUJ, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela on behalf of the members of the Union expressed a sincere  appreciation to the Aspirant for the kind gesture he has shown toward the Union by renovating the press secretariat and he said the Union still expect more.
