Niyi Adebayo At 60, Humble, Accessible - Oluyede




A Leading Governorship Aspirant of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Dr Wole Oluyede has described the former governor of the State, Otunba Niyi Adebayo as a humble and accessible leader on his 60th birthday.

In a congratulatory message made available to Fountain Newsbreaker, Oluyede described Otunba Niyi Adebayo as ’’a legend and  an astute politician worthy of emulation.

Speaking further on the first civilian governor of Ekiti, Oluyede described Adebayo as "a Quintessential Omoluabi of Our Generation" saying ‘’this is a moment to Celebrate an Icon." He therefore prayed and rejoiced with Adebayo's family on this Auspiciously occasion.

"I felicitate with a Patriotic Leader whose utmost desire is the success of his people and the Wellbeing of humanity. I also congratulate your family, friends,   well wishers and Ekiti in particular  on  celebrating an illustrious Son, everybody is proud of.

When Ekiti state was created in 1996, it was first  under the control of military administrator  of Lieutenant Colonel Innuah Bawa but,Otunba Niyi Adebayo  was the first democratically elected Civilian Executive Governor of the State in 1999.

The Ikere Ekiti born governorship aspirant further said "Otunba Niyi Adebayo is a Gentleman to the core, responsible and decent, generous and humane. He is a wonderful politician of repute. He is a pride not only to Ekiti people, but Nigeria in general.

The Aspirant said, ‘’at this point in time, Nigeria needs such a politician with marvellous orientation and good upbringing, at the helms of affairs

Dr Oluyede added that despite the affluent background of the Celebrant, "he is So humble, always- accessible, ever-amiable and sociable. He is fondly described as ‘’the smiling face’’

The Aspirant said Adebayo is a world-class role model.

Dr Oluyede therefore called Nigeria politicians to emulate the good nature of the icon in politicking.
‘’His radiant and glamorous look is a  pointer to the natural goodwill’ Oluyede urges the people of Ekiti to emulate the good nature in terms of attitude and disposition.

He said Otunba Adebayo is a patriotic leader who had used his leadership quality to build a solid foundation of governance in Ekiti
