° Fayose dissolves cabinet

According to a Press release by the Governor's Special Adviser on Public Communication and New Media, Lere Olayimka, the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has directed the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.

All the former Commissioners are directed to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries of their respective ministeries.

The governor thanked the former commissioners for their service to the State and wished them well in their future endeavours.

ANA Faction Loses Court Case, Risks Being Docked For Contempt of Court

The National Executive of a faction of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) led by Mr. Camilus Ukah has lost its bid to challenge the jurisdiction of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, in a pending originating summons against them and the faction it constituted for Abuja, under the Chairmanship of Mrs. Usman Halima.
