Oyebanji Thanks Ekitikete For Dad's Birthday

The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has expressed his appreciation on behalf of his family to Ekitikete for the goodwill messages and prayers for his father, Pa Ezekiel Olukunle Oyebanji on his 90th birthday on Saturday, July 15, 2023. 

The Governor in a press release signed by his Special Adviser, Media thanked friends, associates and family members that graced the thanksgiving service held at the First Baptist Church, Ikogosi Ekiti, in commemoration of the birthday, despite the fact no formal invitation was sent out to anyone. 

Specifically, the Governor acknowledged the presence of royal fathers, men of faith, the State Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye; Senate Majority Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele and members of the National Assembly; members of Ekiti State of House of Assembly; state executive council members, Party leaders , the MD/CEO  and staff of Premium Trust Bank, Baba’s former students and other distinguished Nigerians that graced the occasion. 

While stating that the family did not take the love and affection shown to their patriarch for granted, Governor Oyebanji wished everyone safe journey back to their respective designations and prays for abundant grace and blessings for everyone.

ANA Faction Loses Court Case, Risks Being Docked For Contempt of Court

The National Executive of a faction of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) led by Mr. Camilus Ukah has lost its bid to challenge the jurisdiction of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, in a pending originating summons against them and the faction it constituted for Abuja, under the Chairmanship of Mrs. Usman Halima.
