How We Came About "Twist Of Fate" - Lead Author

Fountain Newsbreaker's Editorial Team; Christianah Fawale, Hidayah, and Sunday had an exclusive interview with the Lead Author of a new book, "Twist of Fate", Odekunle Doyin Zouerat at their Media Unit on April 25, 2023 in our office.

The book 'Twist of Fate' has by Ten (10) authors, and the lead author is; Odekunle Doyin Zouerat. It has 134 pages with well packed stories. 

INTRODUCTION

Odekunle Doyin Zouerat is my name. I'm the founder of 'Write with ZouZou Initiative' which started in the year 2020 during Corona period. I got this idea to help my fellow writers who are scared of committing grammatical errors, spelling errors, insertion of the elements of writing and many other things. I called it 'Write with ZouZou' because I want people to write with me to make up a story but this is different from 'Anthology'.

The interesting thing about the organization is that, "the money gathered from published books is used for charity, to support people. Even though it has not been easy but thanks to God for how far he has brought us" Zouerat declared.

Background Of The Book

This Story is inspired by real lifeexperiences. During the lockdown, there were issues around DNA. Even though there are many women with atrocities but when this kind of issues happened. You should not put the blame on your wife and you know your wife from onset. When issues of DNA happens in your family, the first thing is to check other factors apart from 'infidelity'. When the faithfulness and chastity of a woman is questioned, other factors must be considered for her to regain them. This and many more were what brought about this book.

I read about how to insert elements of story into my piece of writing with the inspiration I got from 'Bro Toheeb Adejumo' I love the way and tone of his writing which led me to Google to learn about how to insert elements of suspense in my story and how to emphasize on it. The element of suspense helps to keep readers intact and to get their attention throughout the story so that the story won't be dry but interwoven. 

Content Of The Book

This book is not limited to Muslims to read but to all religious as well. I am a Muslim and it appears in everything I do, I don't separate my business from my religion. That's why you would found the elements of Islam in the story. I read christians books, motivational books and many more. Zouerat Said

The use of dual language in the story is to encourage intertribal marriage.

The aspect I really love in this book is the aspect of the DNA controversies and the family of Yaseer and Yusrah. Keeping secret from your partner is dangerous, this caused a great havoc in Yusrah family. The Lead Author asserted.

SUMMARY: This book talks about intertribal marriage and also talks about thinking outside the box when issues happens.

ADVICE TO POTENTIAL AUTHORS

My advice to the incoming writers is that you will always have audience to whatsoever you put into writing, don't always try to sound like others. Be unique and don't be scared of sharing your writings with people or making mistakes.
