Ekiti Assembly Condoles Late Lawmaker's Family


Ekiti State House of Assembly has expressed sadness over the sudden death of Hon. Ayodele Micheal, a member of the 3rd Assembly who died on Tuesday 23, 2020, after a brief illness.

The Assembly in a condolence message  by the Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Hon. Yemisi Ayokunle, described Late Hon. Ayodele's death as a rude shock, coming at a time he was highly needed by his family and the State.

Hon. Ayokunle described the deceased, popularly known as Salindo as a gentleman, a committed Democrat who devoted his life to the development of his people and Ekiti.

The Chairman, on behalf of the entire lawmakers, sympathized with his immediate family, Oye community and the entire people of Ekiti for the loss.

She prayed that the Almighty God would grant his soul eternal rest.


Hon. Ayodele Micheal, represented Oye constituency 1 at the Assembly in 2007 to 2011, during the 13/13 era and also served as Commissioner for Commerce and Industry during the last administration.
