Fayemi vs Oni: APC Felicitates With Fayemi Over Victory.

The All Progressives Congress In the south west zone has felicitated with the governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, on his victory at the Supreme Court of Nigeria over the eligibility suit filed against him by Segun Oni.

This was contained in a release by the Zonal Publicity Secretary of the APC in the South West, Oladapo Karounwi on Wednesday. According to the release, it happened during the visit of the leadership of the APC in the South West to the governor's office, led by the Zonal Chairman, Bankole Oluwajana.

The leadership however celebrated the governor over his sterling performance since he assumed office about six months ago. The Zonal leaders commended the Governor for the unprecedented electoral feat achieved during the last elections as Ekiti state came first in the south west in all the elections.

The Zonal executive members were impressed with the strength and stability of All Progressives' Congress (APC) in the state.

Fayemi in his reaction, acknowledged the efforts of the Zonal leadership at repositioning the party in the Zone, urged them to double their efforts in reconciling all issues threatening the unity and stability of the party in the Zone as soon as possible. He therefore assured the leadership of his constant support.

ANA Faction Loses Court Case, Risks Being Docked For Contempt of Court

The National Executive of a faction of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) led by Mr. Camilus Ukah has lost its bid to challenge the jurisdiction of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, in a pending originating summons against them and the faction it constituted for Abuja, under the Chairmanship of Mrs. Usman Halima.
