Appeal: APC Chieftain Hails Fayemi's Victory

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State Kayode Babade has hailed the court of Appeal for upholding the Election that produced John Kayode Fayemi as governor of Ekiti State.
in a statement signed by Kayode Babatuyi in Ikere Ekiti, Babade said the judgement showed that the opposition party were just being mischievous and desperate to get to power at all cost knowning fully well that they were rejected by Ekiti people.
According to him, the Election was free and fair adding that Ekiti People deliberately voted overwhelmingly for Kayode Fayemi owing to the hardship they were facing at the time in view of the poor welfare, non payment of salaries and bad governance perpetrated by the then Government.
Kayode Babade who had served in different capacities both as commissioner and lawmaker however congratulated Governor Kayode Fayemi, his wife Bisi Fayemi, the Deputy Governor, chief Egbeyemi and the entire APC family for the deserving Victory.
He prayed that God continued to grant Fayemi the wisdom to succeed in office while he called on the people of the state to support his Government so as to take the state to an enviable height.
The Ikere born Politician also rejoiced with the lawmakers elect in the state wishing them all the best in office.
