Results From 32 LGAs in Kano

President Muhammadu Buhari has overwhelmingly won 32 local government areas in Kano state, thereby putting him in a pole position to win the state. Based on the results from local government from the state so far, the president has won majority of the votes Kano has 44 local Government Areas and the president seems to have defeated his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state. Election Postponement: A Delay of Celebration For APC - Egbeyemi

By Abasi Femi Oguntayo Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) was poised for victory on the new dates announced by the INEC, noting that the poll shift only delays celebration of victory by its members. He expressed confidence that the postponement of the general elections by one week will not stop the All Progressives Congress (APC) from winning the polls. Egbeyemi however urged party members not to be discouraged by a shift in the dates of the election saying victory is sure for President Muhammadu Buhari and other APC candidates in the general elections. ASUU Suspends Strike Conditionally, Threatens to resume Strike If...

By Abasi Femi Oguntayo    The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) yesterday, 7th February 2019 called off the 3 month strike action threatening to resume strike if the federal government failed to meet up with their end of the deal.   The Union in a release by its President, Biodun Ogunyemi made this known to the public. "The final level of consultation was the meeting of the National Executive Council (NEC) which took place 6th-7th February, 2019. By Abasi Femi Oguntayo  Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi has extended juicy largesse to public secondary schools barely three days after distributing instructional materials to public primary schools, The governor on Thursday flagged off the distribution of educational materials to selected secondary schools across the three senatorial districts of the state. Fayemi who was represented at the ceremony by his Deputy, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, said the distribution of the materials was the first phase of his administration's intervention programme in public schools. Items distributed include 2000 chairs and lockers, 550 students laptops, 9,792 copies of science text books and 1,100 set of drawing boards and T-square. 2019: PAAM leaders Back Adetunmbi Reelection bid.
