Breaking: Yet Another Fuel Tanker Falls Off in Ado-Ekiti

A 33, 000 liters fuel tanker just fell off at Irona street in Ado-Ekiti, the state Capital. The tanker was to deliver fuel to NIPCO filling Station also in Irona.

Men of the water corporation are already on ground to prevent the fuel that was already spreading on the ground from further splitting and catch fire.

Atiku's Son Tests Negative For Coronavirus, 40 Days After

Mohammed Atiku-Abubakar, a son of Nigeria’s former vice-president, has now tested negative for coronavirus. “I have just received my second consecutive negative result,” Mr Atiku-Abubakar told newsmen on Monday afternoon. “My discharge is currently being processed, and I hope to be home this evening.” The Nigerian disease control office does not comment on individual cases. Mr Atiku-Abubakar was first confirmed to have contracted the virus on March 19 and was subsequently transferred to an isolation centre on the outskirts of the Nigerian capital, Abuja. The 31-year-old, however, failed to test negative for the virus until today, a 40-day ordeal that experts said could be amongst the longest ever recorded in the country since the first infection was confirmed in Lagos February 27. There have been crisis ahead of 2022 in Ekiti State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) as a group said to be loyal to the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose have split  and had consequently resulted in verbal attacks over a comment made by Fayose which indicated his plan to disengage his Former Deputy, Professor Olusola Eleka from contesting the 2022 governorship in the state. Fayose was recently quoted to have said, "There will be no 'South Agenda' in Ekiti 2022", saying the rotational arrangement in the party was not only undemocratic but also unconstitutional.  He maintained that, " On Ekiti Agenda We Stand'.
