 Oladebeye Dr. Dayo Hephzibah Oladebeye as just been appointed by the Federal Government, as the sixth substantive Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti. According to the letter of appointment to Oladebeye, dated 1st March 2018 and signed by the Honorable Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, the appointment is with effect from Friday, 23rd February, 2018.   Ojomoyela The Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ) has said there should be working relationship between the   media and security agencies in order to end the spate of insecurity ravaging the country. The Chairman of NUJ Ekiti State Council, Rotimi Ojomoyela stated this on Thursday in Ado Ekiti while delivering a lecture titled ; 'The Roles of Media in Achieving National Security' The lecture was organized by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) in commemoration of 2018 World Civil Defence Day Celebration. Ojomoyela noted that the media contributed more than any other sector to restoring the current democracy in Nigeria, adding that the role played by media in nation building cannot be overemphasized.
