The former governor who described Governor Ayodele Fayose as a jester, said: "all the efforts of Fayose to tarnish my image and rubbish my landmark in Ekiti through a fake panel will amount to nothing".

"Whether Fayose likes it or not, the end has come to PDP's misrule in Ekiti because whosoever emerges as the APC flagbearer will be given maximum support to win the general election", Fayemi stated.
The party leaders who were very eager to hear about the much rumoured governorship ambition of Dr Fayemi were disappointed as he tactically dodged anything related to his personal ambition. He however warned all those who were busy making permutation about his ambition on the social media to desist from such and go back to their wards.
"Elections are won at the wards and pulling units not on social media. So let everyone go back to his wards," Fayemi said.

From the information reaching us at the State, the ward chairmen have also been delivering the message properly. So no cause for alarm". She assured them that more dividends of democracy would come to them in the new year but urged everyone to stand firm in his or her ward "So that we can take back governance from this crook in Ekiti come 2018"
Cornered at the event for a brief chat with the Fountain Newsbreaker, the former Chief of Staff, Yemi Adaramodu only waved his hands and smiled with a snappy comment: "when the elephant talks, the child watches"
