While protesting against the Buhari-led government, Nigerian entertainer Charly Boy has fallen under heavy criticism by many Nigerians.
The 66-year-old controversial entertainer has been leading the Our Mumu Don Do protest against the stay of President Muhammadu Buhari outside Nigeria on medical grounds. The protesters are asking Buhari to resign or resume work since he has spent 90 days outside the country.

Wale Ojo Lanre, Nigerian Tribune editor has taken to his social media page to lambast Charly Boy.
According to him, Charlyboy is a thoughtless old fool who allowed himself to be used by corruption in staging a shameful protest.

He wrote;

Charly Boy is what a Yoruba call adagbamadanu , a thoughtless old fool who allowed himself to be used by corruption in staging a shameful protest purporting to force an ailing and recuperating man home irrespective of his state of health !
I am not saying, he Charly Boy and his gangsters have no right to stage a protest, even they can go naked but such an effort should be for sensible reason not to force a not yet certified medically okay person home.
This is stupidity bordering on insanity

The National Executive of a faction of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) led by Mr. Camilus Ukah has lost its bid to challenge the jurisdiction of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, in a pending originating summons against them and the faction it constituted for Abuja, under the Chairmanship of Mrs. Usman Halima.
