Gani Salau The Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Adamu has rescinded his earlier order not to allow essential workers covering the COVID 19 activities to work freely during the lockdown. He however warned against abuse of the rules while on official duty. Adamu stated this in a press release made available to the press by the Police Public Relations Officer, Force Head Quarters, Abuja, ACP Frank MBA with reference  CZ.5300/FPRD/FHQ/ABJ/VOL2/ 20th May, 2020. The Federal Government has declared Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 May, 2020 as Public Holidays to mark this year’s Eid-al-Fitr Celebration. Director Press and Public Relations in the Ministry of Interior, Mohammed Manga disclosed this in a statement issued Thursday in Abuja on behalf of the Minister, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
